Rev. Billy E. Blankenship Founder Southland Global Missions "Our Field Is The World"
Greetings, in Jesus name!
Welcome to our new updated Web Site! We will be adding many Messages, and other items of intrest, such as, "Poems from the Heart", "audio messages" and, an easy guide to help you find the title messages you are looking for.
We will be continueing to update, as well as bring new messages of intrest, (especially concerning America and the Church!) In these troubling times we need the truth as to what is happening in our world, and, what we can do to prepare for the days ahead. We have nothing to sell, just sharing the Gospel, and, some of todays important news.
With war on every hand, and the potential of terrorism around each corner, we need a sure word from (the Bible) and, we should ask God what part we will play in this last day scenario! If any of the messages prove benefical to you, please tell someone else. You also have permission to "copy any of the messages" and sharing them with friends and loved ones.
Please don't let this be the last time you visit our Web Site. God has clearly shown me, that very soon our nation will be in great turmoil. Please ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom as you read the messages on this site. "The Southland Messenger" is dedicated to bringing the truth of God's Word, and for His glory. Believe me dear reader, God has placed an urgency in my heart, to "Cry Aloud and Spare Not", and, to "Sound the Alarm" to a sin sick, Christ rejecting Nation, that judgement is at the door. Amen! BEB. |
Thought's for today
It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.
********************
We will not be remembered by our words, but by our kind deeds.
*********************
There's no place in the Bible which states: "You can receive the Lord, and be saved tomorrow".
**********************
It is the height of folly, and the most dangerous business, to know the truth and not act on it. God will hold you accountable for all
that you know, and, for all that you "could have known", if you were really interested enough to find out.
**************************
All that you do, do all in the light of eternity.
**************************
I would rather try something for God and fail, than to do nothing and succeed.
*************************
The greatness of man's power, is In the measure of his surrender.
***********************
A preachers business is to win Souls. (His only business.)
***********************
It's not success that makes a man great, but how much it takes to make him quit.

EVERY PREACHER OF THE GOSPEL-READ!!
An anonymous author wrote the following lines many years ago:
Now more than ever, they constitute a keynote for successful living. They might be called a " spiritual strategy"!
*********************************
The Lord has given to every man his work. It is his business to do it, and the Devil's business to hinder him if he can. As sure as God has given you a work to do, Satan will try to hinder you. He may present other things more promising. He may allure you by worldly prospects, he may assault you with slander, torment you with false accusations, set you to work defending your character, employ pious persons to lie about you-editors to assail you, and excellent men to slander you.
You may have Pilate, Herod, and Caiaphas all combined against you, and Judas standing by ready to sell you for thirty pieces of silver.
"But keep to your work". Do not flinch because the lion roars, do not stop to stone the Devil's dogs. Do your work! Let liars lie, let the Devil do his worst ; but see to it that nothing hinders you from fulfilling the task that God has given you.
Keep about your work. Let your aim be as steady as a star.. Let the world brawl and bubble. You may be assaulted-wronged-insulted-slandered-wounded and rejected- you may be abused by foes-forsaken by friends-and despised and rejected by men. But see to it with steadfast determination, with unfaltering zeal, that you pursue the great purpose in life-and object of your being-until at last you can say:
I HAVE FINISHED MY TASK!
