Welcome to our new updated Web Site! We will be adding many Messages, and other items of intrest, such as, "Poems from the Heart", "audio messages" and, an easy guide to help you find the title messages you are looking for.
We will be continueing to update, as well as bring new messages of intrest, (especially concerning America and the Church!) In these troubling times we need the truth as to what is happening in our world, and, what we can do to prepare for the days ahead. We have nothing to sell, just sharing the Gospel, and, some of todays important news.
With war on every hand, and the potential of terrorism around each corner, we need a sure word from (the Bible) and, we should ask God what part we will play in this last day scenario! If any of the messages prove benefical to you, please tell someone else. You also have permission to "copy any of the messages" and sharing them with friends and loved ones.
Please don't let this be the last time you visit our Web Site. God has clearly shown me, that very soon our nation will be in great turmoil. Please ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom as you read the messages on this site. "The Southland Messenger" is dedicated to bringing the truth of God's Word, and for His glory. Believe me dear reader, God has placed an urgency in my heart, to "Cry Aloud and Spare Not", and, to "Sound the Alarm" to a sin sick, Christ rejecting Nation, that judgement is at the door. Amen! It does make a difference

A very short message

In Maine, they tell of an old man walking along the beach with his grandson, who picked up each starfish they passed, and threw it back into the sea. "If I left them here", said the boy, "they would dry up and die". I'm saving their lives. But, protested the old man, the beach goes on for miles, and there are millions of starfish, what you are doing won't make any difference! The boy looked at the starfish in his hand, gently threw it into the ocean, and answered. "It makes a difference to this one"!
You too may say in your heart-I am not doing any good as a "Soul Winner", there are too many people to reach, and I am not reaching very many. But remember dear one, that the "One" you are sharing with right now, it is very important t him! Maybe he is the one you can throw back into the sea so to speak-It will make a great difference in his life.
I have had the privilege over the years of reaching many thousands of souls by the way of Radio. But also, I have had some of my most enjoyable moments, as I have shared the gospel with some, that soon thereafter went into eternity to meet God. Was it important to that person? You will always be blessed by God Himself, as you share the plan of salvation with others.
As we face such troubled times here and abroad, it is easy to listen to Satan's voice whispering into our spiritual ears. "There are millions of souls, what can you do with just one? What you are doing will not make any difference"!
With eyes full of tears, we should say: It makes a difference to this soul who is in my life right now", as we gently throw the eternal lifeline, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
How about you right now dear friend-are you in the Ark of safety"? Do you know Jesus has, or will, forgive you of your sins? The happiest days of my life have been these past 41 years I have been a Christian. One day in LaSalle Illinois, in the year of 1969-I prayed to God, and ask for mercy, and surrendered my life to Him.
He is willing and waiting right now to forgive you of your sins, if the Holy Spirit is dealing with your heart. Will you come right now? God loves you so much, but He cannot save you unless you ask! He tells us in His word, that if we will confess our sins, that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (sin). Ask Him now-You will be glad for all eternity. And then, go tell someone else of the joy you have. Pray this short prayer to be used of God.
Lord Jesus use me to be a "Soul Winner" Amen.
