Welcome to our new updated Web Site! We will be adding many Messages, and other items of intrest, such as, "Poems from the Heart", "audio messages" and, an easy guide to help you find the title messages you are looking for.
We will be continueing to update, as well as bring new messages of intrest, (especially concerning America and the Church!) In these troubling times we need the truth as to what is happening in our world, and, what we can do to prepare for the days ahead. We have nothing to sell, just sharing the Gospel, and, some of todays important news.
With war on every hand, and the potential of terrorism around each corner, we need a sure word from (the Bible) and, we should ask God what part we will play in this last day scenario! If any of the messages prove benefical to you, please tell someone else. You also have permission to "copy any of the messages" and sharing them with friends and loved ones.
Please don't let this be the last time you visit our Web Site. God has clearly shown me, that very soon our nation will be in great turmoil. Please ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom as you read the messages on this site. "The Southland Messenger" is dedicated to bringing the truth of God's Word, and for His glory. Believe me dear reader, God has placed an urgency in my heart, to "Cry Aloud and Spare Not", and, to "Sound the Alarm" to a sin sick, Christ rejecting Nation, that judgement is at the door. Amen!  | Statement of Faith |

Southland Statement of Faith (revised)
Since 1972, I have been a Pentecostal preacher. Our statement of faith, and the reasons for it has come under many years of Bible study, and the observation of the Church and her actions. The following are our firm beliefs.
(1).. We believe in the trinity of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(2).. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven.
(3).. We believe that through His sacrifice of the Cross of Calvary, it paid the sin debt for all man kind; to those who will repent and follow Christ.
(4).. We believe that the Blood of Jesus Christ, when appropriated by faith, cleanses from all sin.
(5).. We believe that by His stripes we are healed, and that the healing is in the atonement. We believe that God grants healing and withholds healing as He sees fit.
(6).. We believe in the "filling", or as some say, "the baptism in the Holy Spirit; with one of the evidences of speaking in tongues. We also believe that there are many more evidences of having the Holy Spirit besides speaking in tongues.
(7).. We do not believe in much of the current, Charismatic-Pentecostal foolishness that is being exhibited to day, as many are distorting the Bible's teachings on the spiritual gifts.
(8).. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit as recorded in 1st Corinthians 12:14. We believe that the gifts should be operated today in exactly the same way.
(9).. We do not believe that Ministers have the right, authority, or instruction from the Word of God to tell the congregation, or any individual, that they have the power to administer and transfer THE ANOINTING. We believe that only God gives His anointing on whomever He pleases, and for what ever task He chooses to "anoint" for.
(10).. We believe that we are living in the last of the "last days", and that the work in God's vineyard is greatly lacking in laborers. The harvest is great, but the laborers are few. We believe that it is the God given honor and duty of every child of God, to be a witness for Jesus Christ.
(11).. We believe that it is the obligation of every citizen in the Kingdom of God, to reach the lost wherever, whenever, and however possible; that all people are lost, without the forgiveness of sins by Jesus Christ.
(12).. We do not believe that there are any other methods to forgive sins; that all other methods will ultimately fail. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. "No man cometh unto the father but by Me".
(13).. We believe, that due to the rash of "court rulings" in our Country in the last few months, that "America is now being weighed in the balances". May God continue to be merciful to America.
(14).. We believe that the hour is short to labor in the vineyard, and whatever we are going to do in the Kingdom of God, we must do now. God give us the wisdom and power to do just that. Amen.
