In the last few years, there has been an onslaught on the Church unparalleled in History. Persecution is at a fever pitch throughout the world. The Church is not only hated by the devil, but also the liberal anti-Christ Media-and our own Leaders-false religions-liberal misfits- along with the cults. On the forefront also, many Preacher's "claiming to be Ministers of the gospel", are bringing a reproach upon the Church of Jesus Christ-that is unparalleled in church history.

We will address some of these issues later on in the message, as I ask the question-will the Church be able to withstand the hatred from without, and, the cancer from within? The hatred from without is understandable, as the devil has sought to destroy the Church from its inception. But the cancer from within, is seemingly gone unnoticed -by many so called "Spirit filled Christians today"!

While having the power to run and jump pews at a single bound-they seem to have lost most of their God given discernment, which is so greatly needed today.

There has been more persecution and killing of Christians in the last 3 years, than at anytime in History. The devil is on a rampage, knowing that his time is short, he is seeking to wipe out the Church of the Living God if possible. I will not go into detail of all the countries, as to the "atrocities" taking place, but will mention some of the methods used, that the "Martyr's" for Christ are giving the ultimate sacrifice.

In China, the underground Church is under intense persecution. Imprisonment and torture, are the norm in that country. Using every method thinkable,  from -hanging by the thumbs-using cattle prods on the genital area-beatings-starvation-labor camps-removing the family bread winner-denying employment- and the beat goes on. Will the Church be able to stand?

The stories coming out of China, not only of the torture and the above listed atrocities, but also, while the devil is seeking to destroy the Church-THE REAL TRUE CHURCH IS GROWING! As the house Church Pastors, are carted off to the "interrogation rooms", some one else will step in and continue the work he started. How can this be? How can there be so much sorrow, death, and brutality, and the Church still flourish?

Where do these Martyrs come from? Where do you find such men and women,  that will stand for Christ in this wicked Christ hating generation? Is this something new for just the last days? I think not! Persecution is foretold in the Bible! In this "good time-feel good-entertainment driven generation of Church folk", the last thing that is taught in MOST Churches, is the persecution of the Saints! When you "join the Church" as many call it, you are headed for happiness-success-and riches. The lies of Satan have rocked them to sleep in the arms of many of the Tel-Evangelists. Still yet, the Bible teaches differently.

1 Cor. 4:11...Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place.

This doesn't sound much like the "get rich schemes" cooked up on Christian Television today does it? Although there are many scriptures pertaining to persecution, for brevity sake, I will stop here. Why persecution? Satan, from the inception of the Church, has tried to destroy it. In India, the persecution is growing at an alarming pace. Indonesia, the homes-Churches are being burned, and many are being "beheaded", for the gospel's sake.

Recently,  I watched while scores of Christians were leaving Israel in mass. There is no room for a Christian under the Muslim Koran! The Muslims have a saying: "Saturday first, then Sunday"-meaning: Kill the Jew first, then the Christians!  But meanwhile  the Church in America is sound asleep! The few ministers that are teaching their flock the seriousness of the world situation, are very few indeed. Shockingly true is the fact: THAT MOST AMERICANS DON'T REALIZE THAT WE REALLY ARE AT WAR! It is simply something that they are "doing over there"!

By the time you read (listen) to  this message, it can well be OVER HERE! Satan cannot hurt God, but he can hurt the thing closest to God's heart, THE CHURCH! Christ died for the Church, and the devil has unlocked the "gates of Hell against it"!  Will it stand? In many parts of Africa today, if you do not accept the "Sharia law" meaning-you either become a Muslim, or you die! America still thinks that we are fighting some "Militant Muslims" as they call them!  NOT SO! We are fighting against a  "religion", a religion of hatred for every Christian and Jew alive today-and, there are no holds barred- as these suicide bombers give their very life to please Allah! It is the only religion on this earth, that believes you go to Heaven with 70 virgins, when you kill your self.   Don't laugh-they believe this just as strong,  as you believe there is a God!

While many Churches have turned into "entertainment centers", the devil is having a "heyday" with many of the "are we going to have a time tonight" Church folks.

Another way the devil is trying to destroy the Church, is through it's credibility! Can you even imagine, that in it's prime, the PTL Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, was taking in "one million dollars A DAY? How could it even be possible, for so many millions of God's people to be so duped, into giving to such a scam? Many of the TV Evangelist's today, have multi-million dollar homes-private jets-and thousands of acres in farm land- and all of this to the glory of God?  Get real!

Satan knows, that when God's people oonce realize,  they have been "taken to the cleaners" by some of these get rich schemers, and scammers. Many "Church folks" will never give another dime as long as they live. When a Minister or ministry, looses it's credibility, there is nothing left of that ministry!

But instead of "sounding the alarm" today, many Pastors  are crying from the pulpit: "don't judge lest you be judged"! "Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm"! One of the most disheartening thing I hear from  time  to time from the sinner (and many Christians also), is: "The Church today is out to rip every body off"!

The real Church of Jesus Christ of course, will do no such thing, but the "wolves in sheep's clothing" are doing a fine job. Selling every thing from "blessed holy water-blessed coins-seeds of faith-blessed handkerchiefs-find a need and plant that seed-special anointing oil-Bibles that are promised to give Miracles if you pay $100.00  for a Bible-burn all of your debts for $50.00-and the beat goes on". Satan laughs, as he watches God's true Church give millions of dollars, when  the Devil knows, that God will never see a dime of it!

Siphoned off by the devil, while the money that could have been a real blessing to some foreign Missionary-or Orphanage in some destitute land. This is one of the ways that Satan attacks the Church! He causes Ministries to loose credibility-and then use the money for their own greedy projects. Many are the Ministers, who go to countries like Haiti-Jamaica-El-Salvador- etc, and have their pictures taken in front of some orphanage, then return home, and push the Church for money for "their" orphanage.

Satan has gone  all out,  to have the Bible and prayer removed from all the schools, and the Ten Commandments removed from every Court House-Office-public signs-and, even signs that are on private property which are visible to the public. Will he succeed? Is the devil winning? With Churches ordaining "homosexual ministers" to the pulpit, and "same sex marriages", a disgusting fact in our society, WHERE IS THE CHURCH? Now is the time to "stand up" and raise our voices to God, and, to the people of the United States of America! We do not have long to work in the Lord's vineyard! Soon, and very soon, to preach from the Pulpit, or on the Radio, that two men sleeping together  is an abomination in the sight of God, and, all man kind, will be considered a "hate crime"!  Will we not cry aloud now, and warn our flock in very plain detail, what the Church is facing?

I said I was not going to expose some of these "greedy rip-offs again", but the more I see, the madder I get! I have just received in the mail, a book and a  Cassette, telling me how God wants me to be rich, and also to be a "Millionaire". I have explained in many of the messages on "false Teachers", the methods-gimmicks-lies-and shams with a capitol S! What I am about to share with you, is so foreign to the "real gospel of Jesus Christ", that there is not even a comparison. And remember-as I share this information-all of the schemes and gimmicks pulled on the Christian today, ARE ALL DONE IN THE NAME OF GOD! THIS MONEY IS FOR GOD, the Evangelist's yell and plead! Since all of the money is for God-just how is GOD using it? I want you to see for your self; HOW "GOD" IS USING THE MONEY "YOU SEND" TO THIS PARTICULAR MINISTRY, AND MANY OTHER MINISTRIES JUST LIKE IT! SEE IF YOU THINK "GOD" IS USING IT WISELY, OR, IS PERHAPS "GOD" IS SLIGHTLY EXTRAVAGANT!

We see many large Ministries today, that the entire emphasis of their "anointed message", is on MONEY! You may say: but these Ministries need finance, to do God's work! REALLY? The lavish lifestyles of many of these Ministries, is unbelievable! This is one such Ministry!

The St Louis Post Dispatch wrote an article, about one of the most successful female Evangelist Joyce Meyers, and her rich tastes and charges to her ministry. Money that could have been used to feed the poor, clothe the naked-ease the suffering of Missionaries overseas, is being used DAILY to fulfill their own selfish wants.

Meyer is fond of nice things and willing to spend for them. From an $11.000 French clock in the ministry's Fenton headquarters, to a $105.000 Crownline boat docked behind her vacation home in the Lake of the Ozarks. It's clear her tastes run more to Perrier, than to tap water. The building is decorated with religious paintings and sculptures, and quality furniture. Much of it, Meyer says, she selected herself. A Jefferson County assessor's list offers a glimpse into the value of many of the items:

A $19.000 pair of Dresden vases, six French crystal vases, bought for $18.000, and $8.000 Dresden porcelain depicting the Nativity, two $5.000 curio cabinets, a $5.7000 porcelain of the Crucifixion, a pair of German porcelain vases bought for $5.200. The décor includes a $30.000 malachite round table, a $23.000 marble-topped commode, a $14.000 custom office bookcase, a $7.000 Stations of the Cross in Dresden porcelain, $6.000 eagle sculpture on  a pedestal, another eagle made of silver bought for $5.000, and numerous paintings purchased for $1.000, to $4.000 each. Inside Meyers private office suite, sit a conference table and 18 chairs bought for $49.000. The woodwork in the office of Meyer and her husband cost the ministry $44.000.

Meyer drives the ministry's 2002 Lexus SC sports car with a retractable top, valued at $53.000. Her son Dan, 25, drives the ministry's 2001 Lexus sedan, with a value of $46.000. Meyer's husband drives his Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG sedan. "MY husband just loves cars" Meyers said. The Meyers keep the ministry's Canada air CL-6000 Challenger Jet, which Joyce says is worth $10 million, at Spirit of St Louis Airport, in Chesterfield. The Ministry enjoys two full-time Pilots to fly the Meyers to conferences around the world. Security is important to Meyer, who says she has received death threats.

Since 1999, the ministry has spent at least $4. million on "five homes for Meyers and her four children near interstate 270 NS Gravois Road, St Louis County records show". Meyer's house, the largest of the five, is a 10.000-square-foot Cape Cod style estate home, with a guest house and a garage than can be independently heated and cooled, and can hold up to eight cars. The three acre property, has a large fountain, a gazebo, a private putting green, a pool and a pool house where the ministry recently added a $10.000 bathroom.

The Ministry pays for all utilities, a maintenance and landscaping costs at all five homes. It also pays for renovations. The Meyers ordered major rehab work at the ministry's expense right after the ministry bought three of the homes. For example, the ministry bought one home, leveled it-and then built a new home on the site to the specifications of Meyers daughter Sandra, and her husband, county records show. Even the property taxes, $15, 629 this year, are paid by the ministry. Meyer says: "she expects the best, from where she lives, to how she looks". Much of her clothing is custom-tailored at an upscale West County dress shop.

At the conferences, she usually wears flashy jewelry. She sports an impressive diamond ring, that she said she got from one of her followers. Meyers has a private hairdresser. And a few years ago, Meyer told her employees, she was getting a face lift. For the most part, Meyer can spend the ministry's money any way she sees fit, because her board of directors is handpicked. IT CONSISTS OF MEYER, HER HUSBAND AND ALL FOUR OF HER CHILDREN-ALL PAID WORKERS-AS WELL AS SIX OF MEYER'S CLOSEST FRIENDS. {end of article}.

IS GOD REALLY USING THIS MONEY? Does it sound like something God would do? Did Jesus expect the best? Did He teach His followers to "expect the best"?

Does it look like the devil is winning? Will the gates of Hell prevail?   NO, THEY WILL NOT PREVAIL! Some day soon, the manipulating-scheming-misuse of God's word for GREEDY GAIN will come to an end. Like Ananias, and his lovely wife Saphira, they too will meet their bloody end. To suffer in any way today for the cause of Christ, is a "terrible sin, and lack of faith" these shysters teach. I heard one "anointed one" just the other night, instructing those that buy his tapes, that if you prayed "more than once", you canceled out your first prayer! What happened to the admonition, or command of Jesus, TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING? Another message altogether!

Just as America is being destroyed from within, through all of the debauchery-homosexuality-live-ins-porn shops-abortion (butcher clinics)-Idol worshippers-Idolatry-and greed-The Church is being attacked by: false religions-cults-scheming Ministries-wolves in sheep's clothing-and the never ceasing demand and want for "Mammon", MONEY!

Trinity Broadcasting Network, a Christian television ministry shaken last month by allegations that it's founder had engaged in a homosexual tryst, has dropped plans for it's annual live fall telethon next week-and instead will show 40 hours of reruns of previous "Praise-a-thons."

The Praise-a-thons bring in more than $90 million in pledges each fall and spring.

TBN officials said the decision was made weeks ago, and was prompted largely by concerns about the health of network co-founder Paul Crouch, 70, and his wife Jan, 66. who remain the most popular on-air personalities for the worlds largest broadcaster.

But observers were  quick to suggest, that TBN was reacting to news reports last month revealing that Paul Crouch secretly paid an accuser $425,000 in 1998, to keep quiet about claims of a homosexual encounter with the televangelist. Crouch has denied the allegations.

Marie Griffith, a scholar of Princeton University who studies evangelical Christians and the media, said: "It suggests a very strong sense of the chaos they are undergoing there" at TBN". Griffeth went on to say: "It would be unseemly for the Crouches to ask for money-after articles in the times detailed the robust financial health of TBN, which averages annual surpluses of $60 million , and the LUXURIOUS LIFESTYLE ENJOYED BY THE CROUCHES".

Paul Crouch Jr., a network executive and son of its founding couple, acknowledged that TBN's decision to go with "reruns" would take pressure off the guest pastors, scheduled to appear on the "Praise-a-thon." "It seems that when TBN is persecuted, so goes the whole body of Christ," Crouch said. But other factors are more important in deciding to cancel the live telethon, he said. Among them: Jan Crouch had been slow to recover from recent gall bladder surgery. And a "best of" format, with segments from PAST SHOWS edited down to small chunks, will allow for a faster-paced telethon, he said.

Perhaps more important, he said, Paul and Jan Crouch may no longer be up to appearing on fund-raisers twice a year. In these telethons, Pastors plead with viewers to make a pledge, so TBN can expand and spread the gospel message throughout the world. They also preach heavily on the "prosperity gospel." A controversial doctrine that says a donation-in this case, specifically to TBN-will result in blessings from God, material, as well as spiritual. About 200 operators are available to answer the viewers calls. Another reason for the "reruns" instead of "a live telethon" they would receive a lot of calls "questioning the recent articles on Paul Crouch".

In another segment of the Times Staff, it is stated-that: "The Crouches have over 30 homes throughout the country". The outcome of the litigation on the charges on Paul Crouch is one thing, but the lavish lifestyle of many of these Ministries today, is sad indeed, and, at the same time claim that God is leading these Ministers. What is happening today? Will the Church survive under such outlandish antics? Is God getting the money supposedly given to Him in these services, or, on these telecasts!

For those TEN that Abraham spoke about, are in great need now! How much longer God will spare America from destruction, and the trials and persecution coming on this Nation, ONLY HE KNOWS! The Church will continue, but it will not be through billion dollar buildings, and compromising Ministries, and preachers! It will be those in other Countries, that are being persecuted, that are standing the test-that are standing true to the word of God-THAT ARE FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH!-these are they that will be the mainstay-backbone-blood bought-that have come through many persecutions, and cared not for their life unto their death!

Yes, the Church will stand! The gates of Hell, will not destroy her! But she will not be the "entertainment driven-good time charley-money hungry-driven by greed for riches- NO, SHE WILL BE AS WE MENTIONED-. You will never hear this "True Church" cry out to the world: "I AM TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT STREETS OF GOLD OVER YONDER, GIVE ME MY GOLD NOW,  BENNY HINN CRIES"!  AMEN, BENNY HINN, YOU ARE GETTING YOUR SHARE!

Church of the Living God, pray now for America! Pray for the Church! She is sick with the "prosperity garbage" spewed from the TV Networks each day, by the many false prophets-called "anointed ones"! Be one of the true Church, that even the "gates of Hell" can not destroy! Purpose in your heart, that you will be true to God's word, and His teachings, regardless of what this "end time-profitless-prophets" teach! IT IS BETTER TO OBEY GOD THAN MAN! But I assure you right now, you will be ostracized-hated-vilified-lied on-called a trouble maker-faultfinder-heretic-one who sows discord among the brethren-and the devil will have a few more good names to label you with. But STAND TRUE! STAND FIRM! AND AFTER HAVING DONE ALL TO STAND-THEN STAND THEREFORE!.God will greatly bless you in the life to come, and, if He so chooses, may well bless you in this life.

If you do not know Christ today, as your Lord and Savior, and, if you feel the tug of the Holy Spirit at your heart, now is the time to ask God for forgiveness for your sins. These are perilous times! Times of great testing. You need a Savior to guide you, and lead you into Heavens gates. Will you ask Him now for His forgiveness? He will abundantly pardon, if you will but ask. Do it now.
